Parsons TSSC-III contracted KOBO Utility Construction to install a complete Glide Slope Facility, work was 100% self performed. Nine thousand six hundred feet of control cable was plowed in to limit the impact on airport operations. The project included a concrete retaining wall, electronics equipment shelter and associated wiring, installation of a high voltage electric service, and glide slope antenna installation. Work was completed safely and ahead of schedule despite extreme heat conditions in North Carolina.
